One of the most anticipated events of the school year, Junior Olympics (held
once a year in the spring), teaches students the importance of physical
fitness, how to develop good sportsmanship skills, but especially have
fun. Events include: 400-meter relays, 100-yard dashes, long/broad jumps, softball
throws, and more. Junior Olympics for the last several years is held
in Pelham Bay Park and is typically attended by 500 students.
