Objectives
o
To
educate parents (with cooperation from the church and school) in their child's
mental, physical, and spiritual development.
o
To
establish and maintain continuous relationship between parents and church school
teachers.
o
To
guide parents on fostering an atmosphere of love and discipline in which
Seventh-day Adventist values can be instilled in their child(ren) through Bible
study, prayer, family worship, and parent example.
o
To
provide an opportunity for parents and church school teachers to develop a
positive relationship in their work for their children.
o
To
support the church school in its effort to harmonize the principles of Christian
education in philosophy, content, and methodology.
o
To
work toward the goal of enrolling every child of the church in the church
school. Earnest endeavor must be made to provide ways for disadvantaged
students to attend church school so that no Seventh-day Adventist child will
miss the opportunity of a Seventh-day Adventist education.
